Oh my god!  This is getting good.  I just got finished watching the 2nd part of the 3rd series finale on the Sci Fi channel, and I really hate the words "To Be Continued."  I won't spoil anything, but I'm really about ready to punch out the Master myself.  My friend watched Doctor Who in the 70's and 80's and said imagine a half an hour episode that was basically a cliffhanger a week.  I don't think I would have lasted!  This is driving me crazy as it is.  I already think I got spoiled this week while I was looking up something about John Barrowman.  Wonder if Torchwood is going to do the same thing to me this week?

I watched Torchwood for the first time on BBC America Saturday night.   I have to say I was impressed.  Still doesn't answer the question as to how our dear Captain Jack got off of Satallite 5 and back to Cardiff, but I'm sure they explain that when he shows up on Season three of DW.  I'm waiting for that to air on Sci Fi.

As far as the second season of Doctor Who is concerned, I was disappointed that they chopped Christmas Invasion to bits.  I know it was a ninety minute episode and BBC America cut it down to an hour, but they cut some good lines.  New Earth didn't seem to be chopped up that much, I could be wrong.

And to round out our DW viewing on Saturday night, BBC America aired the Graham Norton that David just did.  It was funny.  Okay, it was more than just a little funny.  Of course it was a little strange as well, but that's Graham Norton for you.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the rest of DW season 3 on Sci Fi and to Torchwood on BBC America.

This has probably been posted on a lot of different lists.  I'll post the link, cause there's a nice picture of David there, and the article.

LONDON (Hollywood Reporter) - "Doctor Who" fans will be forced to go for almost two years without a series fix from the Tardis-travelling Timelord, because actor David Tennant will take time off to do stagework, the BBC said Monday

The fourth season of the latest iteration of the sci-fi action drama will air in the spring of 2008, but season five will be delayed until 2010, BBC director of fiction Jane Tranter said Monday.

The show is one of the public broadcaster's biggest success stories in recent years and has proved an international hit.

The BBC will air three one-off specials during 2009 and a Christmas special in 2008.

Tennant will work with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford Upon Avon on projects thought to include a lengthy run of "Hamlet."

Just got finished watching the BBC America marathon of Doctor Who in anticiaption of the second season premiere of DW and the first season permiere Torchwood.  I almost forgot how much I liked Captain Jack.  :-)  I feel like I'm hopeless behind since the thrid season of DW has already finished in England and Torchwood is, what, on it's 2nd season.  But hey, I'm patient.

Now, if I could only get them to show Judge John Deed and George Gently on BBC America.  Ah, a gril can dream
