Decisions

So, I have this temp to hire job now. It pays $8 an hour, it's 40 minutes away, and it's 2nd shift. Here's the thing, I got an e-mail from one of the staffing agencies I went to about a job that's about the same distance away, but it's $10 an hour. So I e-mailed the lady at the staffing agency to submit my resume if it's not too late.

Here's the problem. The people at the place I'm working at have been good to me. They found a job for me after they had run out of things for me to do for the really temp job they had given me. That sentence didn't make any sense.

The point is, I need to be making $10 an hour. I need to get back on days. I want this job to work out but I feel guilty about possibly leaving the other place.

Don't you love decisions?

This could work

Okay, I got a call from the temp agency Tuesday saying that the client I had been assigned to didn't get enough mail and probably wouldn't get enough this week so we would try again next week. They called again today and said that the client likes me and was trying to find a way to get me back in there. They found they could use me in a data entry position. It's a temp to hire position and still only pays $8 an hour, but hey, I need the money.

Hopefully, if I get hired full time I'll get a raise.
