All summer there has been all sorts of road construction in my area. First they built the roundabout. That took about two months.
Now they're either widening or repaving the main road, I'm not sure which. And they're doing something to my street. Again, I'm not sure what they're doing. All I know is they show up very early in the morning and their trucks serve as my alarm clock. Not the way I want to start the day.
I remember on Top Gear a couple of years ago they did a road project in 24 hours. I'm half tempted to get Clarkson and company out here to get it over with.
