I just read this article, http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/thegeekfiles/2009/06/supernaturals-jensen-ackles-to.html ; Apparently they took a pole and Jensen topped this list of possible actors to play Captain America. That would be an interesting choice. I had heard people saying that Will Smith would be a good choice for Captain America. While I love Will, I don't think so. I also heard last year that John Barrowman was interested in the role. I think that could work, but someone in the comments for this article on Jensen feels that John is too old.

I don't think anyone considered "A" list should be considered. It would be too hard to see Captain America instead of Will Smith, or Brad Pitt or the list goes on. Jensen has enough of a fan base from Supernatural that it would work and using Chris Pine as Kirk and Zach Quinto as Spock has worked in the new Star Trek movie. Like I said, could be interesting.
