My thoughts on the Torchwood rumors

RTD has said that there will be another season of Torchwood. At Collectormania, Kai Owen said there would be another season of Torchwood. The jury is still out as to if John Barrowman said there is going to be another season of Torchwood. THere's also a rumor that he said he quit, followed by a pause, followed by a just kidding.

Here's my take on all these rumors, until the BBC releases a statement saying that they have commissoned a new season of Torchwood, it's all speculation. I know that John was not happy with the five episode order for the 3rd season, he was very vocal about that. I know that fans are divided over the events of Children of Earth. I have come to terms with what happened, I don't like it, but I've come to terms with it.

Let's all just let the rumors fly and wait for the BBC to say if there's going to be another season of Torchwood and who will be involved.

Is there latest info or something, or are these rumours from over the last year in general? Are people worrying or something, or...? I'm all curious!

RTD has been saying since COE aired that there would be a fourth series.

The latest stuff from Kai and possibly John came this weekend at Collectormania. A lot of people are trying to decide if John was really kidding or not about quitting.

Like I said, until I see official word from the BBC, I'll take everything with a grain of salt.

Ah, I didn't know there'd been new stuff at a con. As you say, until it's announced officially, we're not going to know for sure, so there's not much point angsting about it... *g*
