Account status

So I wasn't able to pay my annual dues to the LJ gods and have been switched to a plus account.  As soon as I can get back on the paid account I would.  I don't like these ads that have appeared on my screen.  And I don't like the fact that I can't use all my user pictures.  I know it seems stupid to pay for this, but I've been doing it for two years, and I don't feel like going back.

The thing that really bugs is they give no leeway, I missed it by an hour when mine was due, and because I was using a paid user theme, it got reset to an unpaid theme, and I had to go and fix everything again when I got it sorted.

Yeah I noticed. Course I just checked my e-mail and some kind soul just paid for six months. I'll have to post a thank you.

Don't forget to check your notifications page, I don't know if they fixed the problem, but 80% of my notifications got turned off in the one hour my account was downgraded *mutters uncomplimentary things about lj*.

It looks like everything is back to normal, but I haven't really given it a through once over. I'll make sure I check everything out.

Sometimes it just seems silly to have to pay for this. But like I said, I've gotten spoiled by the stuff you can do with a paid account.
