I went on a job interview today.  It's part time, 39 hours a week.  I'd be doing transcription work.  It's pretty much a go at your own pace, set your own hours kind of thing.  They talked to me for like 10 minutes then had me do a typing test followed by a transcription test.  I should know by Friday if I start Monday or not.

39 hours ... part time ... wow !

When I worked a full week was 37.5. Times have changed ... ouch !

I think what makes it part time is there's no benefits. I had another part time job where I worked 30 to 40 hours a week and the only reason it was part time was the lack of benefits.
