Back From Media West

I ran away this weekend.  I went to MediaWest thinking that since we were taking my friend's laptop, I'd be able to keep up with things on line, yeah right. The connection at the hotel is slower than dial up. The only thing I could really do was check my e-mail.

Anyway, I had a good time, went to some Supernatural panels and got some good recs of where to go to get more recs in addition to fic recs. Went to Torchwood and Doctor Who panels. I only made it to one Pros panel this year, but I did make it to the Martin Shaw panel. And the John Barrowman panel.

We did a Lordy Lordy Look Who's 40 door this year because Garett Maggart's birthday conincided with MediaWest. My roommate went to do something before we went to grab lunch for us yesterday and saw that we won Best Pop Culture for our door.  She came into the Watchmen panel to give me my lunch and tell me and I tried not to squee.

Now I shall catch up on all of the stuff on livejournal that I've missed since Thursday not to mention other sites.

What happened on the Martin Shaw panel ?

Having never been to one, I have no idea.

First we drooled over the DVD of Apparitions that the girl who was leading the panel brought with her. I pimped Martin's Place. And we went over his list of credits and what we would like to see come out on DVD.

It was basically a drool fest for Martin.

I think the biggest comment we got was that no one could believe Pauley Perrette was turning 40 this year. I know that one surprised me.
