This is crazy

Okay, so this three week job, it's turning out to not be a three week job. Last week was the first full week. Me and another girl started on the previous Friday and things started off pretty well. The work is a little mind numbing. We're going through mail for a charity and making sure that everything gets sorted out where it belongs and that the money goes to be processed. Pretty simple huh?

Last Thursday and Friday they had a big project for St. Jude and had us do that instead of sort the mail. We didn't sort any of it for two days, but the first shift people took care of what we missed. Because Monday was President's Day we were told that they probably wouldn't need us because there wouldn't be any mail. That was find. Then they called the placement agency yesterday and told them they didn't need us yesterday either. Then, they called the agency today and said they didn't need us for the rest of the week.  I was asked by the placement agency to hang in there while they're looking for something else for me. I think the lady at the agency is getting just as frustrated as I am.

So instead of having a 40 hour paycheck with possible overtime on it this week, I have to file with the unemployment office for this week. And who knows, probably next week too.

I just want a job, how hard can that be? Wait, never mind I know.
