Update on the job front

Well, it's been an interesting couple of weeks. I've submitted over 30 applications and signed on with 3 temp agencies. So far, no joy. With the holidays coming up next week, I don't think I'll see any hits till after the new year.  Fun huh?  I'm hoping something will hit soon.  Or that I'll get an unemployment check. That would be helpful for groceries and gas.  We'll see what happens.

You certainly have been trying very hard to get a job. You'd think there'd be some temp places available at this time of the year. An unemployment cheque would come in very handy.

One temp agency I talked to yesterday said that they are slow because of the holidays, but they thought that they might find something after the first of the year.
