John Barrowman on Fifth Gear

So I saw the behind the scenes footage of John and the rally car on Fifth Gear.  I gotta say, first of all, he was having fun.  But I think that Tiff guy jinxed him.  After they had gone around for like the first or second practice lap, John pulled the Rally Car Pro over to get him to say on camera what he had told John.  He said that John was improving.  Tiff what's his name said that was rubbish and they were going to wind up in a ditch anyway.  John said he should say things like that and knocked on the table he was sitting on, on his head, and, well, on his other wood.  <G>  It wasn't long after Tiff had said what he did that they went back out and John flipped the car!  Tiff is a jinx!

John wouldn't have wrecked if he was the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car on Top Gear.

The new most trusted person in America

So New York Magazine came up with a list of people to possibly fill Walter Cronkite's shoes as the Most Trusted Person in America.  Not sure if the link will work, but here it is.  It's an interesting list.  However, out of the people listed, the only one I would probably put in that category would be Tom Brokaw and he'd probably refuse the title.
