For the last three weeks, things have been pretty stressful at work.  But it hasn't be anything I couldn't handle.  We just got really busy and everybody got behind in what they were doing.  I think I have said before that a major part of my job is to put together the certification packages for the military orders.  These packages are then passed on to another girl in the office to do the certificate of conformance and make sure that the packages are distrubited to the shipping office, the billing office and the customer.  Well, on Thursday she tells my boss that I didn't give her packages for a couple of orders.  I keep an Excell spreadsheet log of everything I give to her and I keep copies of the packages on my computer.  These pacakges were in both places, but because I hand delievered them to her instead of e-mailing them like I usually do, they mysteriously got lost.  Well from now on whenever I have to hand deliver something to her, she has to sign for it.  That way if it gets "lost" I have a log showing that she did indeed receive the package.

Now, today, I was told that I misled my boss to believe that I didn't have a traceability sheet that I showed him yesterday.  I showed this piece of paper to three different people, including my boss and the 1st shift shop floor supervisor, to let them know that we had a problem with the order.  Somehow my boss forgot that I showed it to him and when the 1st shift supervisor came up to look for it today and my boss found it on my desk, he thought I had misled him.

It's only 8:40, I've only been here for 40 minutes, and I want to go home.  I think I need a holiday.

Sounds like my boss!!!! He pulls people away from their job, or tries to hurry them, then gets mad when mistakes are made!

Get this, around lunch time, the first shift supervisor comes back up looking for the order. I go to give it to him. He leaves without it. My boss comes back up with him, gives it to him and he's all like we had it the whole time. I said I tried to give it to him! Men. What are you going to do with them.

Typical male!! They put the blame on the women just to try to show their superiority. Won't admit that they are inadequate and made the mistake in the first place.
