The Interview went well today.  I was practically offered the job on the spot.  They're checking my references and background, and if everything goes well there, I have the job.  It's part time, but I'll take what I can get now.  Of course now I get to sweat out the waiting process and hope there aren't any problems with the references.  Or the credit check.  Background's pretty solid. <G>

I got to thinking today.  I think the reason I haven't been getting assignments from the temp agencies is, 1) there aren't any jobs, and 2) I don't have a  lot of office experience.  Most employers are looking for 5+ years experience while I only have 3.  So fingers still crossed that things go well.

Last night I started a temp job. It's only going to last for three weeks, but it's possible it could lead to a permanent job. Right now, I'm sorting mail for the company's client.  The client is a charity organization and I have to sort out the mail that has donations from the mail that doesn't. It's not the most taxing job in the world, but for now it is a job.
