I'm on vacation until the 26th! Of course, I'm broke, so I won't be going anywhere. Tha'ts okay, I'll go somewhere when I go on vacation in May, even if it is just Mediawest. The fun part is that when I get back from vacation, my boss will be on vacation. I'm looking forward to a week of semi-rest and relaxation. There are things that need to get done around the house.
I suppose at some point, certain DVD's will find their way into the DVD player. And from what I hear, I need to add another DVD set to my wsh list. From what I understand, Cranford is excellent. And the last five minutes are especially good.
I have discovered new distractions on BBC America. Top Gear is a fun show. And of course there's Torchwood. New episodes are a little over a month away. That should be about the time that new episodes of everything else I watch dry up because of the writer's strike. I heard today that the writers are going to negoitate with individual stuidos and production companies. Maybe that will get us somewhere.
Of course, it is turning out to be a good thing that I am on vacation and I don't have to go to work tomorrow, because we just got dumped on today with a wonderful snow storm. I had to pick my roommate's son up from work today and could barley see five feet in front of me. And now it feels like I'm starting to get a sore throat. What a wonderful way to start a vacation.
