Do you know how hard it is to be a baseball fan in
October? You get the thrill of your team (the
Cleveland Indians) being in the playoffs and having a
good shot at the World Series. But you also get the
games coming on against your shows. I've had to flip
between the game and Doctor Who, Torchwood, CSI, CSI
Miami, and now it looks like I have to do that with
NCIS tonight. And no House! What's a girl to do?
Okay, that might be enough space. :-)

First of all, it was great to see Rory last night.
Speed and Delko always had great banter and that was
there last night. I'm disappointed that they made him
a hallucination.

Cooper stealing Speed's credit card, using it and
thinking no one would care makes me gag. First of
all, the card company would have been informed of
Speed's death. They wouldn't have reissued his card.
I swear Horatio was standing in front of Speed's
locker getting ready to clean it out when Calliegh
came to see him right before the funeral. I could be
wrong though.

The whole credit card company plot was stupid. There
is not a credit company in the world, at least not one
that I know of, that will call someone you are trying
to get a job with and tell them you're a slut. They
want to get paid. They won't threaten your parents'
home, unless it was a loan and your parents cosigned.
It just seemed like the writers were running out of
things to do.

I am not sure how much longer I will keep watching
Miami. I hate Natalia. I don't like Jake. Ryan and
Delko have never been my favorite characters. I don't
understand why Tripp is in uniform again. The only
three characters I still care about are Alexx,
Calliegh and Horatio, and there are times I want to
smack Horatio. All in all, I think the show needs
CPR.

But as I reflect on last night's episode, I recall one
of the last times we see our dear Speed. He's
standing there being lit beautfullly by the sunset. I
like that image.

Oh, and the Indains won.
