This is the most ridiculous storyline I have ever seen.  And no, I'm not just talking about what happened at the end in Thames House.  Although that bothers me greatly too.

The idea that the governments of the world would actually want to get rid of 10% of the children is repugnant. Maybe I just have a problem with any storyline that endangers children.  I just hate this one.  Everyone thinks RTD is a genius.  He hasn't shown me genius, he's just shown me cruelty.

It has been said by RTD and Eve Myles that you can't mollycoddle your audience and therefore characters will die.  I'm sorry, but I have watched many Sci Fi shows where major characters have made it all the way to the end of the series.  Stargate SG-1 comes to mind.  Some might aruge that Daniel died, however, he did not die.  He was on a higher plain of existence and he came back to his mortal life.  RTD hasn't killed any major characters off on Doctor Who, regenerations don't count.  Is that mollycoddling the audience?  I don't think so.  Ianto did not have to die.  There was no reason for it.  Except that RTD is again being cruel.

I will watch Day 5 but I don't know if I will watch a 4th season of Torchwood.  Not if the plots are going to be like this.
