Overall, I have to say I'm feeling a little underwhelmed.  This could be because I was spoiled, but I kind of doubt it.  It is in real danger of totally becoming the Gwen show, and I am not down with that.  The whole putting a bomb inside of Jack was a little ridiculous.  I get that he's immortal but him regrowing his entire body is way out there even for sci fi.  Although it did lead to wonderful Naked John Barrowman.  I don't like the 456.  Frobisher and company are okay, but someone has to put a bullet between that Johnson bitch's eyes.

I do like getting to see Ianto's family and seeing Jack's daughter and grandson.  Even though Alice doesn't want him hanging around, she is clearly scared that she's lost her father.  And she is her father's daughter.  I liked the part where she hit the guy with the cutting board.

Rhys is definatly likeable in this series, although it wouldn't have killed him to go to the shops like Jack asked.  Beans be damned.  And I'm little distured that he and Gwen used those contacts at home.  <G>

I'm not sure how I feel about this Lois woman Davies seems to think should be a new member of Torchwood.

Gwen is being her usual self.  No real changes in her charcater as far as I can tell.  Although she's still acting like she runs the place.  Offering people jobs without running things by Jack first.

Jack turning the children over in 1965 is totally out of character.  He would never do that, no matter what the order or what the reason or what the 456 offered in return.  Although it was nice to see him in track pants and a t-shirt for a little while.  And of course Ianto would find him a coat to wear.  <G>

Ianto always knows what is needed.  Love how he came back with essential supplies.  And how he managed to get a message to his sister.  Jack should have done that for his daughter then Johnson bitch wouldn't have found out about her.  Ianto can read short hand.  Another talent we didn't know about.

And blowing up the HUB is not a good idea.  They need the Rift Manipulator.  It leaves wide open.  And poor Myawnfy (I probably spelled that wrong) and Janet.  They never stood a chance.  Curse you RTD.

Because I have been spoiled, I'm not really looking forward to the next two episodes.  Of course, as my roommate puts it, I live in a nation of deniel so these things I've been spoiled on never really happend.  <G>
