Have you told him specifically why? That it was because he threw you into unfinished lockers as a teenager, and although you know he might have changed over the years you still feel so bad about that that you'd be remembering it all the time? That sorry, but it had a long-term effect on you, and so... you're going to block him, as someone suggested above? But tell him the actual reason - if he has changed he'll feel bad but understand, and if he hasn't... well, better off out of it, right?
