Last night there were probably too many cashiers I'll admit that.  We're in the middle of a big sale and I think they satffed the registers the way they did because of that.  I'm not complaining, more money for me.  Anyway, it was slow last night.  However, the cashiers that were working with me were all doing our jobs.  We did not need the girl who was supposed to be on men's registers on the other side but decided to work in Juniors instead, telling us that we should put stuff away.  We know that.  We are new however and do not know where this stuff goes.  A little guidence might be nice.

And then one of the guys that was working in the misses section seemed to get annoyed because we were straightening up things at the registers instead of putting things away in his department.  Basically he was annoyed we weren't doing his job.  Of course I think he's also annoyed he's considered part time and he might be pulling full time hours, but that's another story.  And anyway, if that's the case, his beef is with the managers, not me.

My first new job rant.  I'm so proud.

So I'm taking a geography class this term and we're studying Sub Sahara Africa this week.  We were supposed to talk about how colonial powers blurred the lines of tribal boundries.  Some how Cecil Rhodes came to mind.  <G>  See, watching Martin Shaw is educational.  hehehe
