I need a car expert and Richard seems pretty knowledgeable. I went to go home from work today and got in my car, started the engine, turned on the headlights and windshield wipers, all working no problem. Look over at the radio, it's not on. Don't think anything of it. I can live without a radio. Then I tried to shift into reverse. The gearbox won't work! I can't shift the car out of park. One of the managers at work looked at my owners manual and found an override. I have to stick a screwdriver into part of the gearbox while my foot is on the brake and it will shift out of park that way. All the other gears seem to be working. I'm going to drive it to the garage I usually have stuff done at and see if they can figure out what's going on. I think it might link back to when they had to tow it bcause of the battery. They had to do something to the gearbox then so they could get it towed. What a nightmare.
